A great passion that keeps paving its way
From the privatisation of the CARDER Atlantique Track Unit in 1992 to a sub-regional player with 2,290 employees.

A word from the Chairman and CEO
In 1990, the Structural Adjustment Programme required Benin to privatise the CARDER Atlantique Track Unit. It was in this context that ADEOTI SA was born in 1992.
Drawing on our expertise as Rural Equipment Engineers, we won the privatisation tender and were awarded the Atlantique Tracks maintenance programme from 1993 to 1997. This venture was made possible by the financial support of ECOBANK.
We started in 1994 with 70 employees from the Track Unit. Today our workforce numbers 2,290 people and our fleet has grown to nearly 500 machines. Our projects now cover the whole of Benin and the sub-region, notably Togo and Côte d'Ivoire.
Today my son Kamal Dine, Deputy Managing Director, has taken up the torch. I stand alongside him so that the company continues its international growth.
“Building Benin and Africa starts with building skilled, proud and self-reliant African teams: a passion that has kept paving its way since 1992.”Mr ADEOTI SALAMI Yaya, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
